In Memory of Bill Hunter

We are sorry to report that one of our former board members, Bill Hunter, passed away recently.

Bill lived in the Keys for almost 20 years and moved away not long ago. His time here in the Keys was spent advocating for the Keys community. He served on many boards including the Monroe County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee. As vice president to Last Stand, he collaborated with other like-minded organizations and successfully helped to defeat some legislative initiatives that would have cleared the way for more development. Bill left his mark by advocating for policies to promote, preserve and protect the quality of life here in the Keys. We will miss him and his positive outlook and willingness to help and get involved.
