RE: Agenda Item M2: Discussion on County Charter

Dear County Commissioners:

Last Stand will be closely following the BOCC’s discussion on the issue of charter vs. non-charter county.  At this time, Last Stand has no position on this issue.

If the BOCC decides to continue examining the issue, our Board and members feel that the process needs to maximize participation of all groups, in particular, the residents.  Last Stand also believes that the process must be transparent at every stage to ensure that the issue of the county pursuing being a charter county it is fully vetted.
